Novosergievka

an urban-type settlement and administrative center of Novosergievka Raion, Orenburg Oblast, RSFSR. Situated on the Samara River, a tributary of the Volga. Railroad station 118 km northwest of Orenburg. Population, 11,100 (1970). Novosergievka has a machine shop, a building-materials combine, a dried-milk factory, a flour mill, and a poultry hatchery.
