Location:Access via Highway 39 and Wright County Road 1 from the south; from thenorth, take Highway 8 to Highway 39 and Wright County Road.
Facilities:17 secluded backpack campsites, 2 group camps, 3 remote ski-in/walk-incamper cabins, flush toilets (é), picnic area (é), enclosed picnicshelter (é), hiking trails (14 miles), self-guided trail (1.5 miles),horse trails (6 miles), ski trails (14 miles), skate-ski trail (2miles), snowshoe rentals, warming house, fishing pier, boat launch,boat and canoe rentals, visitor center (é), interpretive exhibits,gift shop.
Activities:Camping, lake fishing, boating, canoeing, hiking, horseback riding, cross-country skiing, ice skating, snowshoeing.
Special Features:Park includes one of the few remaining stands of the "Big Woods," amaple, oak, and basswood forest that once covered part of southernMinnesota. The park is also home to the Blandings turtle, one ofMinnesota's threatened species.
