Special Features:Oklahoma's largest state park, Lake Murray is also the state’s first resort park. Its lodge, built in 1949, was the first in the state system to offer modern, first-class facilities. The park also includes Tucker Tower Museum. Originally designed in the 1930s as a summer home for Oklahoma governors, the Tower now houses an impressive natural history collection. Park surrounds Lake Murray, a 5,728-acre lake with 150 miles of shoreline.
