Novye Aneny

an urban-type settlement and administrative center of Novye Aneny Raion, Moldavian SSR, 5 km from the Bul’boka railroad station (on the Kishinev-Bendery line). Population, 6,100 (1973). There is a cannery (for vegetables, fruits, and grape juice), a mechanized bakery, a factory producing mixed feed, a plant producing building materials, and a chicken hatchery.
