Mortar Mixer

a machine for preparing mortars by mixing various components. Distinctions are made between mixers using gravity mixing and those using forced mixing and between mobile mixers, with outputs of 1.5 to 5 m³/hr, and stationary mixers, with outputs up to 100 m³/hr. In the USSR, batch mixers with forced mixing in a stationary drum are widely used. The maximum batch volume in domestic mixers is 1,800 liters. Mobile mixers having a mixing drum with a capacity of 150 liters or more are also equipped with skip hoists and water-feed control devices.
