Location:From Hot Springs, 3 miles west on US 270, then 12 miles north on AR 227.
Facilities:65 campsites with electric and water hookups, 24 campsites with nohookups, 12 hike-in tent sites, 8 cabins, swimming area, picnic areas, trails,full-service marina with boat rentals, bait, and supplies, visitorcenter with exhibits and a store (é).
Activities:Camping, fishing, swimming, water-skiing, scuba diving, boating.
Special Features:Surrounded by the Ouachita National Forest (see listing in section onNational Forests), Lake Ouachita is Arkansas's largest lake (40,000acres) within the state's borders and is considered a mecca forwatersports. At the lake's eastern tip is historic Three Sisters'Springs, once thought to have curative powers.
