Activities:Camping, boating, fishing, swimming, hiking, rock hounding.
Special Features:Park lies next to a 53-mile-long lake formed by Owyhee Dam. A boat trip or canoe ride up the lake offers breathtaking views of the Owyhee Mountains. Wildlife living in the area include bighorn sheep, pronghorn antelope, golden eagles, coyotes, mule deer, wild horses, and (rarely) mountain lions. Park makes a good base camp to explore Oregon’s badlands.
