Location:I-25 to Pueblo, then US 50 west for 4 miles. Turn south on Pueblo Blvd and go 4 miles to Thatcher Ave, and west 6 miles to park.
Facilities:401 campsites, electrical hookups, 3 group campgrounds, showers,restrooms, 348 picnic sites, 4 group picnic areas, snack bar,hiking/mountain biking trails (18 miles), horseback trails (10 miles),swimming beach with waterslide, bathhouse, fishing piers, fish cleaningstation, 2 boat ramps, 2 full-service marinas, mooring/docking, boat rental, jet skirental, visitor/nature center (é).
Activities:Camping, boating, fishing, swimming, water-skiing, sailboarding, jetskiing, hiking, mountain biking, horseback riding, hunting (withrestrictions), cross-country skiing, ice fishing, winter camping,interpretive programs.
Special Features:With the Greenhorn andSangre de Cristo mountain ranges as a background to the south and westand Pikes Peak to the north, Lake Pueblo is an area of contrasts. Milesof trails make it easy to discover the beauty of the area, but thepark's 11-mile-long reservoir also makes it a prime destination forwater sports enthusiasts.
