Location:30 miles north of Portsmouth, in the southeast corner of the state.
Facilities:10 campsites (without electricity), picnic areas, picnic shelters, swimming beach, boat ramp.
Activities:Camping, boating, water-skiing, fishing, swimming, ice skating, ice fishing, sledding.
Special Features:Park is located in the Appalachian foothills near the Scioto River, and its sandstone outcroppings are coated with ferns, mosses, lichens, and fungi, including morel mushrooms. Part of the park includes the remains of the old Ohio and Erie Canal channel.
