Linetol

a preparation of a group of anticholinesterase agents obtained from linseed oil.

Linetol contains a mixture of the ethyl ethers of unsaturated fatty acids (oleic, linoleic, and linolenic) and saturated acids. It is used internally for the prevention and treatment of atherosclerosis and externally for skin burns and radiation lesions.
