one worker - multiple machines production

one worker – multiple machines production (OWMM)

a method of PRODUCTION which involves one worker operating a number of different machines.

OWMM is usually employed in situations where production volumes are not high enough to justify a big production line involving a large number of operatives. OWMM economizes on the use of labour while enabling advantage to be taken of benefits of a production-line operation (for example less SET-UP time).
