[‚lip·ə‚mel·ə′näd·ik ri‚tik·yə′lō·səs] (medicine) A form of lymph node hyperplasia characterized by preservation of the architectural structure, inflammatory exudate, and hyperplasia of the reticulum cells which show phagocytosis of hemosiderin, melanin, and occasionally fat. Also known as dermatopathic lymphadenitis.
