Abatskii

an urban-type settlement, the center of Abat-skii Raion, Tiumen’ Oblast, RSFSR. It is situated on the left bank of the Ishim River (a tributary of the Irtysh), 72 km northeast of the Ishim railroad station on the Tiumen’-Omsk line. Population in 1968, 5,000. It is the site of a brick factory and an oil plant. The Ust’-Balyk-Omsk oil pipeline goes through Abatskii.
