Mushketov Glacier

a valley glacier in the central Tien-Shan, Kirghiz SSR; situated on a northern slope of the Sary-dzhaz range. The glacier measures 20.5 km long and 1–1.8 km wide. Its lower part is covered with moraine for a distance of 5 km. The Adyrter River (a left-bank tributary of the Sarydzhaz) rises at the glacier’s edge. The glacier was named after I. V. Mushketov.
