Nikolaevka

an urban-type settlement in Donetsk Oblast, Ukrainian SSR, under the jurisdiction of the Slaviansk city soviet. Situated 12 km from the Mashchermet railroad station on the Slaviansk-Krasnyi Liman line. Population, 18,200 (1974). The Slaviansk state regional power plant and a branch of the Shevchenko Sovkhoz are located in Nikolaevka. The settlement also has a vocational training school and a branch of a power system construction technicum.
