Listvianka

an urban-type settlement in Irkutsk Raion, Irkutsk Oblast, RSFSR. It is situated on Lake Baikal at the source of the Angara River. The Baikal railroad station is on the opposite bank. A shipyard is in Listvianka. The Institute of Limnology of the Siberian division of the Academy of Sciences of the USSR is located there. A museum is connected with the institute.
