Matoutsin

(Morinkhur) a stringed bowed instrument found in Inner Mongolia (People’s Republic of China) and the Mongolian People’s Republic. The matoutsin’ has a trapezoidal body with leather upper and wooden lower soundboards, with irregularly shaped soundholes in the lower soundboard. It is 1,000-1,100 mm long.
