Large cell carcinoma
An aggressive pleomorphic carcinoma which corresponds to a PD SCC, adenoCA or small cell carcinoma, which may be associated with marked eosinophilia or leukocytosis Clinical 50% metastasize to the brain; if > 40% of cells are 'giant', it is designated giant cell carcinoma and has a very poor prognosis–average survival of < 1 yr.
