National Conference of Commissioners on Uniform State Laws

Founded in 1892 to study the laws of the various states,recommend areas that should have uniform laws around the nation,and then write laws that may serve as models for legislation by the individual states. The current real estate-related laws written and proposed by the National Conference of Commissioners on Uniform State Laws (www.nccusl.org) include topics on landlord-tenant law, condominiums, conservation easements,residential time-shares,and nonjudicial foreclosure.
