Special Features:Park is located on the shores of Chesapeake Bay and is the site of thehistorical Bay Shore Amusement Park, which operated here from1906-1947. The original trolley shelter and fountain have beenrestored, and the trolley shelter can be reserved for special events.Another historic feature here is The Defenders' Trail, which was usedduring the War of 1812 and passes through the park.
