Liubar

an urban-type settlement, the center of Liubar Raion, Zhitomir Oblast, Ukrainian SSR. Liubar is situated on the Sluch’ River (tributary of the Pripiaf), 24 km from the Pechanovka railroad station on the Shepetovka-Kazatin line. Industry is represented by brick, mixed feed, and cheese plants, a bakery, a poultry hatchery, and a state regional electric power plant. Liubar has a museum of local lore.
