Mezoföld
Mezőföld
part of the Middle Danubian Plain in Hungary, between the Danube River in the east and Lake Balaton in the west; bounded in the north and south by low mountains. Elevations, 120-160 m. Mezőfüld is a flat, weakly dissected plain composed of alluvial and loess-like rocks. Wheat and corn are grown, and there is horticulture.
