New China News Agency

(Chinese Hsinhua, “New China”), the information agency of the Chinese People’s Republic; located in Peking. The New China News Agency was founded in 1938 in the city of Yenan as the information agency of the Chinese Communist Party. After the proclamation of the Chinese People’s Republic in 1949, it became the state information agency.
