[ə′rī·ən mə′lek·yə·lər ′klau̇dz] (astronomy) Two molecular clouds in the Orion Nebula; one has about 300,000 hydrogen molecules per cubic centimeter and contains the Becklin-Nengebauer object and the Kleinmann-Low Nebula, while the other is centered on a cluster of infrared sources.
