Facilities:44 tent/trailer/RV campsites, 2 pioneer campgrounds, group camp, 9picnic shelters, 5 group shelters, nature trails, 120-acre lake,swimming pool, boat ramp, docks, canoe rentals, wildlife observation platform, 18-hole golf course, clubhouse, and golf pro.

Special Features:Located near the famous Okefenokee Swamp, the park is home toalligators, carnivorous pitcher plants, saw palmettos, yellow shaftedflickers, great blue heron, and other flora and fauna native toGeorgia's swampland. Park was named for Laura Walker, a Georgia writer,teacher, civic leader, and naturalist who was a great lover of treesand worked for their preservation.
