Orulgan

a mountain range in the Yakut ASSR, part of the Verkhoiansk Range system. Located south of the Kharaulakh Range, the Orulgan Range is approximately 500 km long and has elevations to 2,389 m. Composed of limestones, sandstones, and shales, it is greatly dissected by the river valleys of the basins of the Lena and the Iana. Up to elevations of 1,000–1,200 m it is covered by sparse larch forests; higher up there is rocky tundra.
