Lavin, Marilyn

(1925– ) art historian; born in St. Louis (wife of Irving Lavin). She studied at Washington University, St. Louis (B.A. 1947; M.A. 1949), the Free University of Brussels (1952), and New York University (Ph.D. 1973). She taught primarily at Princeton (1975) and specialized in Italian Renaissance paintings.
