Lavrentii

a gulf of the Bering Sea, on the eastern coast of the Chukotka Peninsula. Length, 43 km; width, 1.5–23 km. The shore is steep and precipitous; tundra vegetation grows in its sloping sections. The semidiurnal tides reach 0.4 m.
