Facilities:Visitor contact station.
Activities:Fishing, hunting (with restrictions), educational programs.
Special Features:More than 220 species of birds and 600 species of plants, as well as 65 species of butterflies have been documented on the refuge.
Habitats: 644-acre mix of wetlands, forest, and native grasslands.
Access: Year round during daylight hours.
Wild life: White-tailed deer, woodcock, snipe, northern harrier, savanna sparrow, and great horned owl.
