McDougall diet

A vegan (strictly vegetarian) diet formulated by Dr John A McDougall, MD, that is low in fats, sugars and salt, high in fibre and complex carbohydrates, and has virtually no cholesterol. The McDougall diet is based on whole grains, whole grain flours, pasta, legumes, squash, root vegetables and is supplemented with fresh fruits and vegetables.
