Nonoccupational Injury
Injury, Nonoccupational
according to Soviet labor law, an injury to a person’s health not related to that person’s job, service to the state, or public duty. In the case of temporary disability due to such injury, benefits are paid—as an exception to the general rule—from the sixth day of disability. In cases of total disability resulting from a nonoccupational injury, the pension allocation is the same as for disability due to an illness.
