The microLenat, originally invented by DavidJefferson, was promulgated as an attack against noted computerscientist Doug Lenat by a tenured graduate student atCMU. Doug had failed the student on an important exam forgiving only "AI is bogus" as his answer to the questions. Theslur is generally considered unmerited, but it has become arunning gag nevertheless.
