Ouezzane

a city in southwestern Morocco, in the province of Kenitra. Located on the southwestern slopes of the Rif Mountains, in an agricultural region where olives, grapes, and grains are grown. Population, 33,300 (1971). Ouezzane is a trade and handicraft center. Vegetable oil and flour are produced locally.
