Nosovka

a city (since 1960) and administrative center of Nosovka Raion, Chernigov Oblast, the Ukrainian SSR. Population, 20,500 (1973). Nosovka has a railroad station on the Kiev-Bakhmach line. Among the enterprises located in the city are a sugar combine, a branch of the Nezhin Cannery, a butter factory, a brickyard, and a furniture factory. There is also a museum of local lore.
