Location:8 miles northeast of Olympia, Washington.
Facilities:Visitor contact station, hiking trails (é), observation tower, viewing sites, historic features.

Special Features:Refuge is located in the Nisqually River Delta, a biologically rich and diverse area at the southern end of Puget Sound.
Habitats: 3,000 acres of salt and freshwater marshes, grasslands, riparian, and mixed forest habitats.
Access: Open daily during daylight hours.
Wild life: Migratory birds, including wigeon, mallard, blue-winged teal, shrews, moles, otters, bats, whales, porpoises, snakes and newts.
