(lĕrf'lĕr kŭl'chŭr mē'dē-ŭm) A culture medium consisting of beef blood serum, sheep blood serum, and beef bouillon containing peptone, glucose, and sodium chloride; used for the isolation of Corynebacterium diphtheriae.
