Logata

a river in the Taimyr (Dolgan-Nenets) National Okrug, Krasnoiarsk Krai, RSFSR; a right tributary of the Verkhniaia Taimyra River (Kara Sea basin). Length, 393 km; basin area, 10,900 sq km. It flows through the Northern Siberia Lowland. The river is meandering. More than 3,200 small lakes with a total area of 926 sq km are found in the basin of the Logata. The river is fed by snow and rain. The Logata freezes over in late September and thaws in early June.
