Mroveli Leontii

bishop in Kartli and Georgian historian of the 11th century (in the opinion of some scholars, the eighth century). His Life of the Tsars, which constituted the first part of the Georgian chronicles, became part of the Kartlis Tskhovreba. The works of Mroveli Leontii provide information on the history of Georgia from ancient times to the fifth century A.D.
