A portable, electronic device that monitors and logs metered dose inhaler (MDI) use, which emits warning tones to alert patient of improper usage.Parameters monitored include timely inhalation, date and time stamp, and proper shaking for uniform doses of medication; memory storage and application software provide the physician with several months of usage data for assessing therapeutic efficacy and patient compliance.
