释义	negative contact negative contact i. A term used by pilots to indicate to ATC that (a) previously issued traffic is not in sight. It may be followed by the pilot's request for the controller to provide assistance in avoiding the traffic. It may also mean (b) the pilots were unable to contact ATC on a particular frequency. ii. A term used by military pilots to indicate that they have no radar or visual contact with the target or traffic.
