Tonshaevo

an urban-type settlement and administrative center of Tonshaevo Raion, Gorky Oblast, RSFSR. Tonshaevo is situated on the Pizhma River (a tributary of the Viatka), 12 km from the Tonshaevo railroad station, which is on the Gorky-Kotel’nich line. Tonshaevo has a butter factory, a flax processing plant, and a plywood factory. A branch of the Semenov Souvenir Production Association is in the settlement.
