Pokhara

a city in western Nepal, on Lake Phewa, situated south of the Annapurna mountain peak. Since the early 1970’s it has been linked by highways with Katmandu and Segauli at the Indian border. Pokhara is a commercial and tourist center. An airport, a hydroelectric power plant, and a match factory are in the area.
