turbidity, atmospheric |
| 释义 |
Turbidity, Atmospheric Turbidity, Atmospheric the reduction in the transparency of air resulting both from the scattering of light by tiny particles suspended in the air (water droplets, ice crystallites, and dust and smoke particles) and from the absorption of light by water vapor. Increasing atmospheric turbidity is accompanied by increasing scattering of solar rays and decreasing intensity of direct solar radiation. The turbidity factor is a quantitative characterization of atmospheric turbidity. |
