Location:10 miles north of Payson, off Highway 87.
Facilities:Group-use area, picnic area, picnic shelters, hiking trails, scenicviewpoints, historic structures, gift shop, portable restrooms (é).
Activities:Hiking, picnicking, guided tours of the historic lodge. The lodge has a dining roomand restrooms and can be rented overnight (maximum 12-20 people). All hiking trails descendinto Pine Canyon and are steep and strenuous.
Special Features:Tonto Natural Bridge is believed to be the world's largest naturaltravertine bridge. It stands 183 feet high over a 400-foot long tunnelthat measures 150 feet at its widest point.
