Voice of Vietnam
(Tieng noi Vietnam), the main state radio station in Hanoi (Democratic Republic of Vietnam). It was established in 1945.
Voice of Vietnam broadcasts over three networks in Vietnamese, English, Chinese, Korean, Khmer, Lao, Thai, French, Japanese, and other languages. Broadcasts over the three networks total more than 40 hours daily. There are branch stations broadcasting in the local languages in the Viet Bac and Tay Bac autonomous regions.
