(2) A glasses-free 3D display technology from Stream TV Networks, Philadelphia, PA (www.ultra-d.com) that can be incorporated into the manufacture of any TV, tablet or computer screen for realistic 3D viewing. Supporting 2160p resolution (4K TV), the system includes an optical layer in front of the screen and circuitry that determines the depth of each object in both 2D and 3D content. The projected image can be seen from side to side, and the amount of depth can be adjusted by the viewer.

Real-Time Conversion from 2D/3D to Ultra-D
Ultra-D can also convert ordinary 2D material into 3D in real time, as well as Blu-ray 3D content, which requires glasses, into Ultra-D content without glasses.

It Looks Almost Holographic
Ultra-D's proprietary technology projects the image out from the screen in a multidimensional fashion that goes beyond the autostereoscopic methods in common use. Demonstrated at the 2013 Consumer Electronics Show (CES) in Las Vegas, Ultra-D is a breakthrough technology in the glasses-free arena. See autostereoscopy and 3D visualization.
