Location:On the Talimena Scenic Drive, 13 miles west of Mena on AR 88.
Facilities:35 campsites with electric and water hookups, 6 tent sites, showers,restrooms, 38-room lodge, restaurant, meeting rooms, picnic areas,playground, hiking trails, exhibits (é). A miniature train, miniature golf course, and a native plant/wildlifecenter are open seasonally.
Activities:Camping, hiking, interpretive programs.
Special Features:The first inn to open here in 1898 was built by the Kansas City,Pittsburg, and Gulf Railroad as a resort retreat for its passengers.Since Dutch interests largely financed the railroad, the inn was namedin honor of The Netherlands' reigning monarch at the time, QueenWilhelmina. (Two inns have since replaced the original one.)
