(Building Materials), a monthly scientific and technical trade journal; organ of the Ministry of the Building-materials Industry of the USSR. The journal has been published in Moscow since 1955 (until 1957, under the title Stroitel’nye materialy, izdeliia i konstruktsii [Building Materials, Products, and Structures]). It deals with current scientific, technical, and economic problems in the development of the building-materials industry and with problems in the design and construction of enterprises in the industry. It also deals with the production and application of various building materials. Circulation, approximately 25,000 (1976).
