Third Zimbabwean Dollar Third Zimbabwean DollarThe former currency of Zimbabwe. It was introduced in August 2008, replacing the second Zimbabwean dollar at a ratio of 10 billion to one. It failed to temper the dollar's hyperinflation and the fourth Zimbabwean dollar was introduced in February 2009. Both currencies were demonetized in June 2009. |
