Spinning Tackle
Spinning Tackle
light tackle for the taking of predatory fish, consisting of a rod up to 3.5 m in length with guide rings, a reel, line, and artificial lures in the shape of a spoon or a fish. A weight, float, and lure with one or more hooks are attached to the end of the line. The lure is cast into a designated spot and retrieved by winding the line onto the reel so as to imitate the movement of a live fish.
